Lagonda Elementary 1st grade students in Mr. Tincher's class clinched 1st place in Magma’s Fall Solutions Competition—beating out every other elementary classroom across the United States and Canada.
The two-week challenge encouraged students to submit creative solutions to academic math problems. Their total number of submissions topped all participating schools, securing Lagonda’s spot at the very top of the leaderboard.
Mr. Tincher said the energy in the classroom was electric from day one.
“The students were excited to participate in the competition each day. They checked the leaderboard to track our class progress during the two-week competition on a daily basis. I am proud of their hard work and determination!” he shared.
