The Springfield City School District is proud of its rich history as a local athletic powerhouse. Springfield is a Division I program and part of the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC). Students have the opportunity to participate on 21 athletic teams at the high school level. In the past several years, the Wildcats have produced numerous conference championships, tournament championships and state recognitions for individual athletes. We hold our students to the highest levels, both on and off the field.

To be a successful student-athlete, you must first be a successful student. Wildcat Nation is proud to have propelled several students to realize their dreams at collegiate Division I and Ivy League levels. We encourage our athletes and coaches to practice #CatPride, knowing that they paint a larger picture of our school district every time they compete.
