The Varsity Wildcats fought hard last night at Springboro but unfortunately didn’t come away with the win, losing 1-3. The only two hits of the night belonged to Junior Bri Jones who was 1-3 with a double and Freshman Belle Rogers who was 1-2 with a walk and a stolen base. Sophomore Gracie Castle had the only RBI of the game scoring Senior Ja’Niyah Benton. Defensively the Wildcats were perfect with NO errors! The middle infield was busy with seven putouts and three assists including a double play by Sophomore Peyton Kennedy.

The Springfield Middle School Wildcats move to 3-1 on the season defeating Northmont (Green) 7-6. Gracelynn York led the Cats at the plate last evening going 3 for 3, with a walk. Alayna Strayer led the Wildcats with 2 RBI’s for the night. Teanna Jones, Peyton Breese and Savanna Jones all collected multiple hits. Kara Anne Hupp got on base all 4 plate appearances with 2 HBP, 1 BB and 1 base hit. Savanna Jones got the win on the mound for Springfield tonight lasting 5 innings with 3 strikeouts. Gracelynn York got the save.
Next up: Wayne at Evans on Monday. Keep it rolling Cats!











Our first GWOC game was cold and rainy and didn’t turn out the way we had planned. However, the Varsity girls kept their heads up and continued to give it their all throughout the entire game. We had some excellent defense by our outfielders who had half of the game’s putouts. Junior Centerfielder Caelyn Cave led with 5 catches, including a diving play in left center. At the plate, Junior Bri Jones led the team going 2-2 with a double. Sophomore Gracie Castle was 1-1 with a double and Sophomore Peyton Kennedy was 1-2. Hoping for better weather when we travel to Springboro tomorrow!

Peyton Breese led the Wildcats at the plate today going 3-3 with 2 walks, 2 RBI’s and 3 runs. Alayna Strayer, Teanna Jones, and Savanna Jones all collected multiple hits in the game. Gracelynn York was on the mound for the Wildcats tonight lasting all 7 innings with 10 strikeouts.
Next up Northmont Green tomorrow @ Northmont. Great job Cats!

With hard efforts in the cold, the MS Lady Cats fell to Beavercreek last evening 16-6.
Our ladies collected 12 great hits in the game. Alayna Strayer and Teanna Jones each had three and Kara Anne Hupp had two. Savanna Jones, Petyon Breese, Blayke Steinberger, Grace York and Savannah Jeffery each had a RBI.
We are back in action today @ home as we take on Centerville 5:30P.

The Middle School Wildcats started out the season on the right foot defeating Franklin 19-4. Tah’Tionna Taylor led the MS Wildcats at the plate tonight going 5 for 5 with 5 RBI’s. Peyton Breese, Gracelynn York, Alayna Strayer and Kara Anne Hupp all had multiple hits on the night, with Breese driving in 4 at the top of the lineup. Gracelynn York pitched all 7 innings with 10 strikeouts. Next up: We will take on Kettering tomorrow at Evans with first pitch at 5:30.

Varsity’s second win this season came last night at Triad with a final score of 15-3. We had 14 total hits with 4 players having a multi hit game. Freshman Leeauna Rardon was 3-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBIs. Leeauna also pitched 2 innings allowing no hits and striking out 3. Senior Savanna Vela was also 3-4 with a double and 2 RBIs. Junior Ja’Lynee Thomas was 2-4 with 2 RBIs and 2 stolen bases. Freshman Jazzdyn Frock made her high school pitching debut and had 2 strikeouts in 2 innings. She was also 2-3 at the plate and made some impressive defensive plays.
