Game Day

Yesterday we took a few lifters up to Defiance College, for the Border Battle between Ohio and & Michigan high school lifters. The Ohio side won by a decisive margin and these lifters all did well under new, very technical rules, hopefully bringing back the expectation to share with the rest of our team. Addison Long took 1st place, Jack Hill and Maggie Hatton brought home 2nd place medals, and Asaun Hairston, Tiffany Perez Garcia, & Bella Narcelles all brought home 3rd place medals! A fantastic day to start our meet season. Much thanks to Sammi Davis, Lance & Julie Brunke, and Rob Youngerman for all the coaching/spotting help throughout the day.

Congratulations to our Lady wrestlers who are the first girls to place at a tournament in program history since OHSAA sanctioned women's wrestling! #makinghistory
AaRenee Bell 2nd place
Bella Gutierrez 3rd place
