The MS Lady Cats trailed by as many as four runs, but came back with a hard fight to defeat Northmont (green) yesterday evening with a final score of 9-8!
With hard efforts to come back in the 3rd inning, Peyton Breese and Savanna Jones made the tie happen. In the 4th inning the Lady Cats took the lead with Teanna Jones, Grace York and Alayna Strayer all grounding out a single. Savanna Jones and Kara Anne were patient at the plate with a walk.
Grace York started in the circle for the Wildcats with Savanna Jones finishing and holding the Bolts off for the win at the end.
Great work, ladies!

What a wonderful night to be a Wildcat! With a 11-4 win over Miamisburg, it was a nice way to end a great celebration of our 8th graders!
Alyana Stayer helped take the lead after a great snag, allowing 3 RBI's.
Tah'Tionna Taylor went 3 for 4 at bat, hitting 2 doubles. Avalynn Johnson doubled, scoring in two runs. Gracelynn York started at the mound, striking out 7 and walking none. Savanna Jones held the Vikings at the end of the game, striking out 5 and walking none.

Monday’s Varsity game vs Northmont wasn’t nearly as close as Friday’s, even though we had more hits and less errors. We had no trouble getting the runners on base but need to find a way to get them home! The top hitter on Monday was Freshman Jazzdyn Frock who was perfect on the night going 3-3. Junior Ja’Lynee Thomas was 2-3 with the only extra base hit, a double in the bottom of the 6th. Freshman Belle Rogers was 2-4 with the lone RBI of the night, scoring Senior Savanna Vela. Back at home tonight against Miamisburg 🐾🥎🐾🥎

In a back and fourth game last night, The JV Wildcats were able to break away and go home with a win 22-11 over Stebbins.
The Wildcats collected 17 total hits. Rory Adkins doubled in the fifth inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the first inning, scoring two. In the bottom of the fifth, we scored 12 runs on seven hits to take the lead, 20-11.
Emily Brooks struck out 13. She came in relief for Sophia Smith who struck out one!
Smith and Adkins each collected four hits.
Brooks and Adkins were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in four runs. Katie Peterson and Cheyenne Vela-Isley each collected multiple hits.
Overall, our team had patience at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game. Peterson stole two bases and as a team we collected five stolen bases for the game.
So proud of these girls! Way to pull out a hard fought win!💛💙🥎
