Middle School Volleyball lost 2 tough games to KR and Urbana. 8th grader Chloe Robinette racked up 4 aces against KR and 8th grader Harper Thompson had 4 digs, 2 kills and 2 aces. The Wildcats are back in action on Thursday at Tecumseh. Let's go, Cats! 🐾

Hard fought day for the SHS boys soccer teams today. JV lost 2-0, and Varsity 3-0 to Hamilton. Cats are back at it Monday evening at 530pm hosting Northwestern.
Last night @ Eagle City the Girls Soccer team helped share our love for soccer with those participating in Dream Soccer. It’s an annual soccer tournament for children, teens, and young adults with disabilities. We were grateful to be part of such an incredible event!

This week we focused on determination. Sara Hillhouse won runner of the week for her determination. Sara has the desire to improve each day. She runs outside of practices and she asks questions on what she can do to improve. She does her research. Sara is open to feedback on how to improve and has set appropriate goals for herself to accomplish this season. We are proud of you Sara! Keep up the great work!

The Golf team will have a "Drive, Chip, and Putt-athon" fundraiser this Friday 8/16. The fundraiser will help provide funds for the invitationals that they play in as well as other items that will support the program. The Golf team shot a 343 today in the Troy Invitational. Weston Mohler earned individual honors finishing in 6th place overall after shooting a 76!

The golf team competed in the Arrow Invitational at Windy Knoll Golf Course on Friday August 9th. The team finished in 6th place with a score of 338. The top 4 scores were: Weston Mohler (79), Miller Sin (80), Aiden Szabo (86), and Eli Cave (93).
The team returns to action on Monday at the Troy Invitational.
Join us tonight for Boy's Soccer's only home scrimmage this preseason this evening 530 and 7pm as we host Kenton Ridge.

The Springfield High School golf team finished second overall at the Clark County Invitational on Wednesday August 9 at the Elks Golf Course, with a team score of 348.
Weston Mohler earned 3rd place overall in the county with a score of 80.
This week's Runner of the Week goes to Shoni Hatch -Smith for her dedication. Shoni continues to set goals for herself and pushes outside her comfort zone to accomplish those goals. These "small" goals are big steps towards her overall season goal. She pushes her teammates as well. We are proud of you Shoni! Keep up the great work!
