Wednesday’s game against Beavercreek started and ended with excitement. After the Cats scored 5 in the first, no other runs would be scored by them until the 7th. Down 5-6, the girls fought hard to tie it up with 3 hits by Junior Bri Jones, Junior CC Cave and Freshman Leeauna Rardon and a sac bunt by Freshman Jazzdyn Frock. The winning run was then scored by Freshman Rory Adkins on a walk off hit by Senior Sophia Smith. Couldn’t have been more perfect for Sophia’s first Varsity hit of the year. A walk off in the bottom of the 7th on Senior Night!! What a great game! Game two at Beavercreek tonight to wrap up conference play🐾🥎🐾🥎 ✨Freshman Leeauna Rardon 3-3, 2 RBIs and a double***Pitched a complete game with 4Ks and only 1 earned run ✨Freshman Izzy Vanderpool 2-3 with a double ✨Junior Bri Jones 2-4, RBI and a double ✨Junior CC Cave 2-4 ✨Senior Sophia Smith 1-3 1 RBI ✨Senior Savanna Vela 1-3, 2 RBIs and a double

The MS Lady Cats trailed by as many as four runs, but came back with a hard fight to defeat Northmont (green) yesterday evening with a final score of 9-8! With hard efforts to come back in the 3rd inning, Peyton Breese and Savanna Jones made the tie happen. In the 4th inning the Lady Cats took the lead with Teanna Jones, Grace York and Alayna Strayer all grounding out a single. Savanna Jones and Kara Anne were patient at the plate with a walk. Grace York started in the circle for the Wildcats with Savanna Jones finishing and holding the Bolts off for the win at the end. Great work, ladies!
