The MS Lady Cats trailed by as many as four runs, but came back with a hard fight to defeat Northmont (green) yesterday evening with a final score of 9-8!
With hard efforts to come back in the 3rd inning, Peyton Breese and Savanna Jones made the tie happen. In the 4th inning the Lady Cats took the lead with Teanna Jones, Grace York and Alayna Strayer all grounding out a single. Savanna Jones and Kara Anne were patient at the plate with a walk.
Grace York started in the circle for the Wildcats with Savanna Jones finishing and holding the Bolts off for the win at the end.
Great work, ladies!

What a wonderful night to be a Wildcat! With a 11-4 win over Miamisburg, it was a nice way to end a great celebration of our 8th graders!
Alyana Stayer helped take the lead after a great snag, allowing 3 RBI's.
Tah'Tionna Taylor went 3 for 4 at bat, hitting 2 doubles. Avalynn Johnson doubled, scoring in two runs. Gracelynn York started at the mound, striking out 7 and walking none. Savanna Jones held the Vikings at the end of the game, striking out 5 and walking none.
Great job ladies!
We want to give a special 'thank you' to the parents, coaches and 7th grade ladies for making a night to remember for our 8th graders!

We also would like to congratulate Gracelynn York for being inducted into the Clark State Scholars Program yesterday evening! Great work!

Catch us back in action tonight @ home as we take on Franklin, 5:30 P.M.
GO CATS!!!!

The MS Lady Cats fell to Nortmont (White) yesterday evening. Not every win looks the same, so we celebrate the victories in between the first pitch and the final score that we can carry with us beyond the game! These ladies fought hard in the bottom of the 5th by working at the plate to raise the score from 8-1 to 8-8! The final score after the battle was 11-10. It was a great team effort while many positive things took place that our young ladies can learn and grow from!
Catch us back in the dirt this evening same place, same time as we take on Bellebrook.
See you @ Evan's Field 5:30
Go Cats!

Of course, we are very proud of our Lady Cats on and off the field! Being a student athlete is very rewarding, however, comes with much adversity! It takes hard work to accomplish multiple achievements at once. Ladies, your hard work does not go unnoticed!
Congratulations to Kara Anne Hupp, Savanna Jeffery and Gracelynn York for receiving FFA awards today! Keep up the great work!
