The Springfield City School District, in partnership with Professional Trainer, Marcus Hodges, and gracious sponsors, is excited to offer this free opportunity to any student in grades 7-12. This Saturday the Lady Wildcat basketball team will start their season with an exciting matchup against Portsmouth at Vandalia Butler HS. This game is part of the "Four Decades Tip Off Classic Event"

The Springfield Basketball programs put on a golf outing at Locust Hills Golf Course this afternoon. Thank you to all who participated and all of our sponsors. Huffman Tree Company was the event sponsor for and had a banner on the first hole. Funds raised from this event will support the Springfield boys and girls basketball program for the upcoming season!
Girls basketball tryouts will be on October 25 and 26th. Remember that all students who tryout must be registered in final forms, meet eligibility requirements, and have a valid physical on file with the athletic department.
