Hello families! I have some important information for you all. First, this Thursday is an open house for 8th graders at the high school that will talk about graduation requirements as well as college credit plus for those interested. I've attached the flyer. Let Mrs. Connolly know if you have questions.
Next, our yearbooks are on sale. They are $14 and you can order online or at the school with a check or money order.
Lastly, our GEMS group is hosting a Black History Month extravaganza on February 6th. Please see the attached flyer. Registration is required there will be music, activities, food , prizes and more!

Any SCSD student in grades 6-11 who is interested in taking College Credit Plus courses during the 2024-25 school year is invited to attend an information session during Springfield High School's Open House night on Jan. 25. The session will begin at 5:30 P.M. in the SHS library. This is a great opportunity to earn college credit while still in school!

Today students and staff had a great time today during our PBIS second quarterly reward. Madhouse Serpents brought over several species of snakes, bearded dragons, and an eyelash crested gecko. Ask your student about it! So much fun!

Today we had staff and students visit us from SOI to do a presentation for our 8th graders as an option for their high school years. If your student is interested please contact Mrs. Connolly for an application.
Tonight is our winter band, choir and orchestra concert starting at 6! Please come out and support our students and their teachers as they have worked so hard preparing for this. Our staff and students got a sneak peak this morning. They did awesome!
Today we had our quarterly school store where the students got to spend their PBIS points that they earned in second quarter. So much fun!
Been a busy week this week! Some of our math teachers were matching today with our plaid theme! Next Friday is holiday headwear!
