1st grading period interims will be handed out on September the 13th. The interims will be sent home with the students.
Health Partners of Western Ohio Outreach Team will be coming to Springfield School of Innovation and offering dental services on November 8th, 2024. Regular dental check-ups are an important part of overall health. The visit will be a preventative visit through your insurance company, however if your child has no health insurance there will be NO charge. Forms will be handed out Friday September the 6th. Please return form to the clinic by Sept 13, 2024, Thank you!

Welcome to The School of Innovation. A new year is ready to begin and we would like to invite you to our open house. We will have an open house/schedule pick up on August the 12th from 8:00-3:00. Families can pick up class schedules, meet the teachers and walk the building.The first day of school for 9th grade students is August the 14th and everyone attends on August the 15th. Beginning June 3, free daily lunch is available for students 18 and under as part of the District's Summer Food Program. The program will be held Monday-Friday at most locations. This program is made possible through the partnerships of the SCSD, Clark County Public Library, Wallick Communities, the Springfield Police Division & the Global Impact STEM Academy.
Dear Parents:
I am pleased to inform you that our Board of Education approved the use of Yondr Phone-Free pouches for the 2024-25 school year. This decision supports our commitment to ensuring a focused and engaging learning environment for all students. The Yondr pouches will be used in grades 7-12 and will help students stay attentive in class by securing their phones during school hours.
As we prepare for the new school year, additional information will be shared with students and parents regarding use of the bags and policies to enforce this new initiative. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

TWO HOUR EARLY RELEASE: Due to an updated severe weather forecast by the Clark County Emergency Management Agency, our schools and buses will be released TWO HOURS early on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Springfield High School will release at 12:00 pm, the elementary school will release at 1:00 pm and the middle school will release at 1:45 pm.
All after school activities, practices, games, and events are canceled. The District apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause for families.
