COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITY: All high school students (ages 13-18) are invited to the Clark County Public Library for a weekly 'Brain Break' with calming activities such as drawing, coloring and board games. Sessions are held every Wednesday from 3:30-5 PM at the Main Library's Lenski Program Room (201 S. Fountain Avenue).

COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITY: Submit an entry for the Clark County Public Library's Spooky Short Story contest! The contest is open to students between 6-18 years old. The winner in each age group will receive a trophy and the opportunity to share their story in person. Entries must be submitted to spookystories@ccplohio.org no later than 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 7. Open the app to see the flyer for more details.

School of Innovations parent teacher conferences will be on Thursday the 19th . The conferences will be held from 3:30pm -6:30pm. All SOI students and families are welcomed to attend.
On Tuesday September the 17th there will be a State mandated building wide assembly addressing the dangers of bullying, cyberbullying, child abuse and suicide prevention. The information will be delivered by a district clinical psychologist . If you believe this information would be upsetting to your student you can request to be placed on the opt out list. You must contact the main office at 937-505-4120 prior to the assembly.
1st grading period interims will be handed out on September the 13th. The interims will be sent home with the students.
Health Partners of Western Ohio Outreach Team will be coming to Springfield School of Innovation and offering dental services on November 8th, 2024. Regular dental check-ups are an important part of overall health. The visit will be a preventative visit through your insurance company, however if your child has no health insurance there will be NO charge. Forms will be handed out Friday September the 6th. Please return form to the clinic by Sept 13, 2024, Thank you!

Tomorrow testing starts for students in grades 9th-12th . This is the beginning of the year testing which requires students to have their IPADs charged and ready to go. Thank you for your help.

Welcome to The School of Innovation. A new year is ready to begin and we would like to invite you to our open house. We will have an open house/schedule pick up on August the 12th from 8:00-3:00. Families can pick up class schedules, meet the teachers and walk the building.The first day of school for 9th grade students is August the 14th and everyone attends on August the 15th.
