TWO HOUR EARLY RELEASE: Due to an updated severe weather forecast by the Clark County Emergency Management Agency, our schools and buses will be released TWO HOURS early on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Springfield High School will release at 12:00 pm, the elementary school will release at 1:00 pm and the middle school will release at 1:45 pm. All after school activities, practices, games, and events are canceled. The District apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause for families.

SHS Wildcat Theatre invites you to "Be Our Guest" at the upcoming production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, live at The John Legend Theater! Performances are April 18-19 at 7 PM and April 20 at 2 PM. Tickets can be purchased at jlttickets.org or by calling the box office at 937-505-2945. This is a reserved seating performance, so get your tickets early! Support our talented Wildcat actors, actresses and stage crew! Congratulations to the Springfield High School Mock Trial Team for winning the 2024 Ohio Mock Trial State Championship over the weekend! This the first mock trial state championship for SHS. The team will now move on to represent Ohio at the National Competition in May! Way to go, Wildcats! Read more in the 'News' section of the app.

This week, students from Hayward, Schaefer, SOI and Springfield High School showcased their art, poetry, spoken word and musical abilities at the Springfield Museum of Art during the 'Art that Bonds' event. The theme for this year's event was "The 'I' v. The 'Eye': How I see myself vs. How you see me." We are so proud of these young artists and how well they represented our District! Progress is quickly moving along on the new School Based Health Center at Springfield High School! This health center will provide quality and convenient medical care for SCSD students and families in ways that have not previously been available. Any SCSD student in grades 6-11 who is interested in taking College Credit Plus courses during the 2024-25 school year is invited to attend an information session during Springfield High School's Open House night on Jan. 25. The session will begin at 5:30 P.M. in the SHS library. This is a great opportunity to earn college credit while still in school!
