What an incredible start we've had to this school year! Our teachers and students have spent the last three days reconnecting, building relationships, creating class mission statements and are diving right into learning! Snowhill Elementary School is moving its back to school Open House event to 5:00-6:30 pm on August 12, 2024. We encourage each of our students and their families to attend Open House to meet your child’s teacher and view the classroom and school building!

Have a FANTASTIC summer break Snowhill!
On Friday, May 17th Snowhill students had an amazing time at our Carnival Glow Dance! Each student enjoyed: Kona Ice, a glow dance party, and festive carnival games and activities. A highlight of the day was students creating "Glow Posters" to be on display during the dance. From these posters, 16 were chosen to receive a Five Below gift card! Thank you to our Boosters organization, Kona Ice, and our incredible volunteers for making this day a lasting memory for our students!
Tomorrow is the last day to register for the Wildcat Volleyball Program's Summer Kids Camp and guarantee a t-shirt! This 2-day camp is open to students entering grades 4-7 who are interested in building their volleyball skills. The camp will be held June 6-7 from 6-8 PM at Springfield High School. Beginning June 3, free daily lunch is available for students 18 and under as part of the District's Summer Food Program. The program will be held Monday-Friday at most locations. This program is made possible through the partnerships of the SCSD, Clark County Public Library, Wallick Communities, the Springfield Police Division & the Global Impact STEM Academy.
All incoming middle and high school students are invited the Athletic Department's Open House on Monday, May 20 at 6:30 PM in the Springfield High gym! This is a great opportunity to meet coaches, receive summer schedules and learn more about FinalForms and dates to receive physicals. Fall, winter & spring sports will be represented. See you there!
This week, May 6-10, is Teacher Appreciation Week. We will be celebrating our incredible staff all week. Snowhill is so fortunate to have a staff that goes above and beyond each and every day while providing a quality education for all! Please take a moment, this week, to show your child's teacher(s) just how appreciated they are!
