Tomorrow is the last day to register for the Wildcat Volleyball Program's Summer Kids Camp and guarantee a t-shirt! This 2-day camp is open to students entering grades 4-7 who are interested in building their volleyball skills. The camp will be held June 6-7 from 6-8 PM at Springfield High School. Beginning June 3, free daily lunch is available for students 18 and under as part of the District's Summer Food Program. The program will be held Monday-Friday at most locations. This program is made possible through the partnerships of the SCSD, Clark County Public Library, Wallick Communities, the Springfield Police Division & the Global Impact STEM Academy.
All incoming middle and high school students are invited the Athletic Department's Open House on Monday, May 20 at 6:30 PM in the Springfield High gym! This is a great opportunity to meet coaches, receive summer schedules and learn more about FinalForms and dates to receive physicals. Fall, winter & spring sports will be represented. See you there!

This week at Perrin Woods - April 1 - April 5, 2024: We had a great return from Spring Break! Our second grade students were hard at work helping each other practice math facts. We celebrated the amazing team of Paraprofessionals with treat for paraprofessional appreciation week! We also had some of our younger students help "Pump Up!" our 3rd-6th graders as they prepare for state testing. No School on Monday, April 8. Third-sixth grade begin state testing on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Check out our website live feed for pictures from this week!

TWO HOUR EARLY RELEASE: Due to an updated severe weather forecast by the Clark County Emergency Management Agency, our schools and buses will be released TWO HOURS early on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Springfield High School will release at 12:00 pm, the elementary school will release at 1:00 pm and the middle school will release at 1:45 pm.
All after school activities, practices, games, and events are canceled. The District apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause for families.

The Springfield City School District is excited to introduce a Spanish-English Dual Language Program for the 2024-2025 school year. This new opportunity will be housed at Perrin Woods Elementary. Kindergarten and first grade students will have the privilege to learn both English and Spanish while at school!
If you would like your incoming kindergarten or first grade student to learn to speak, read and write in both English and Spanish this program is for you!

This week at Perrin Woods - March 4 - March 8, 2024. We kicked off the week with iced cookies to celebrate meeting our math goal with collaborative learning in February, we had a great speaker share about getting through tough times, and we enjoyed perfect attendance lunch with the principal.
