Maria Calijau Chay (left) and Yoselin Calijau Chay (right) just completed their first crochet project! The sixth grade girls have been learning how to crochet by beginning with a granny square tote bag. Maria and Yoselin have been crocheting during their lunchtime and recess since the first of November. They are so happy to have their first project completed. They both plan to gift their tote bags to their mothers for Christmas. “We are excited to give these to our mothers!” said Maria and Yoselin.

Huge shout out and thanks to the Dream Closet organization that supported Lincoln Elementary kindergarten and first grade students with holiday clothes and gifts! It is such a treat and honor to be supported by this group of people. The Dream Closet brought their "crazy elves" and invited students to shop where the only price was that the students do something nice for someone else this holiday season! Go holiday Cats!

Team 4th grade gathered today to celebrate all the students who showed growth in our last round of testing. 4th grade did an amazing job in their assessments. They are led by faithful Wildcat teachers, Ms. Donaldson, Ms. Fain, and Mrs. Silverhorn! Congratulations to all. Go Wildcats!!!

4th grade students in Mrs. Silverhorns class get direct instruction about Native American customs and culture from both Mrs. Silverhorn and her guest speaker and husband Talon Silverhorn. The students were very excited and engaged throughout the high quality presentations.
In addition, guest Neenah Ellis also visited the classroom to record content for her podcast that specifically highlights native american history in Ohio. This is real world engagement in action!
GO WILDCATS!
