The Health Center at Springfield High is open for sick appointments and well checks during the holiday season for all District students, parents, guardians and staff! Operated by the Rocking Horse Center, the health center provides medical and mental health services at a priority for our Wildcat Family.
During Thanksgiving break, hours at the health center will be adjusted -- Monday, November 25: 9 AM-5 PM, Tuesday, November 26: 9 AM to 5 PM and Wednesday, November 27: 8 AM to 12 PM. To schedule an appointment, please call 937-717-2578.

Elementary students: Are you interested in the sport of wrestling? Springfield Spartans Youth League offers the opportunity for boys and girls ages 4-12 to learn and compete in an age-appropriate league this winter. Lunch and learn at Lincoln Elementary- Students today were thrilled to be visited by members of the Springfield Fire Department (SPD). Lt. Bruce Kelley and his team visited multiple grade levels at lunch today!

Lincoln Elementary is strengthened by multiple community partnerships. Lincoln works closely with Kids Hope and First Baptist in Springfield to offer adult mentors for students. 3rd grader Zoe Wilson is pictured here connecting with her mentor. We know it takes a village to raise a child!

COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITY: Submit an entry for the Clark County Public Library's Spooky Short Story contest! The contest is open to students between 6-18 years old. The winner in each age group will receive a trophy and the opportunity to share their story in person. Lincoln Wildcats- Welcome Back! We are so excited for this school year. please be advised School doors open at 8:00am with classes starting at 8:30. Dismissal occurs at 3:02. Teachers will assemble with their classes outside of the school building, with the exception of kindergarten which dismisses from inside. We ask for your grace and patience these first few days while everyone figures out the routine. Thank you for sending your children to Lincoln. This is going to be an amazing year.

Lincoln Elementary was proud to receive a special donation over the weekend that will help carry on the legacy of a fallen hero.
The family of Clark County Sheriff's Deputy Matthew Yates and the Springfield Exchange Club worked to install a new bench at Lincoln that honors Deputy Yates' life and service. Deputy Yates was killed in the line of duty nearly 2 years ago. He attended Lincoln as a student and continued to support the school into adulthood. This bench will serve as a place of reflection for his friends and family who knew and loved him.
