There is still time to register for the February session of MakerSpace at The Dome! The theme for this month's workshop is Penguin Palaces. MakerSpace is open for any student in grades 4-8 and is available via 2 sessions: Session 1: February 4, 11 & 25 or Session 2: February 6, 13 & 20. All sessions are held from 5-7 PM. Workshops are free, but space is limited! Register on the District website or by calling 937-505-2998.
February breakfast and lunch menus are now available in the SCSD app and online! To view in the app: Choose your child's building from the 'Schools' button in the bottom right corner. Then select 'Menu' in the bottom left corner and choose 'Dining,' where you can view the menu for each day of the month. Starting Wednesday, January 22, 7th graders NOT in a WINTER SPORT may start attending football weightlifting at Springfield High School. Lifting will take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4:00-5:00pm.
If a child needs transportation to lifting, the following shuttles can transport them to SHS.
Bus 33 will shuttle kids from Schaefer to RMS/SHS.
Bus 21 will shuttle kids from Hayward to RMS/SHS.
Roosevelt kids can walk over to the HS.
Parents may also transport their child to lifting.
Students must wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity, and bring their own water bottle.
Parents, please pick your child up promptly at 5:00 at the Athletic Complex entrance.
