Ohio State Testing begins April 8th at Hayward. We are ready to see our students level up! Reading testing will be held on April 8th and 9th. Science testing, for 8th graders only, will be on April 10th and 11th. Math testing will be on April 15th and 16th. Encourage your student to get a good night’s rest and then have breakfast at home or at school. It is essential to have your student present and on time to school during these days. We also need your support in making sure your student understands the importance of putting away phones, smart watches, and personal headphones (we provide earbuds for testing) during testing and utilizing their Yondr pouches. If these items are out during testing it can invalidate their test. We appreciate your support!

Make: Springfield is open for any student in grades 4-8 and is available via 2 sessions: Session 1: April 8, 15 & 22 or Session 2: April 10, 17 & 24. All sessions are held from 5-7 PM. 2 HOUR DELAY: Due to slick road and sidewalk conditions in parts of the city, the SCSD will be delayed TWO HOURS on Thursday, February 20. Please note that students will be permitted inside their school buildings 30-minutes prior to the official delayed start time of the school day and that breakfast will not be served. All activities, practices, games, and events will be held as scheduled, unless otherwise stated.
