Fulton's Jr. Lighthouse Team and Lighthouse Ambassadors proudly led a school-wide service project that brought warmth, comfort and hope to families fighting cancer. Inspired by the stories of two of our own teachers who are breast cancer survivors, they were compelled to make a meaningful impact. They organized a blanket drive to support patients at Springfield Cancer Center aiming to comfort patients during chemotherapy treatments. The project not only honored survivors within our own school family, but also taught scholars how their actions can bring comfort to others in times of need. Thanks to the generosity of our Fulton staff and families and a generous donation from Economy Linen. In all, 153 blankets were donated and each one serves as a small reminder that no one fights alone.

Fulton’s 6th graders enjoyed an exciting and educational field trip to Central State University led by Mr. Boston. Students explored the campus, learned about college life, and participated in hands-on activities designed to inspire future academic success. The trip gave scholars a glimpse of higher education opportunities and encouraged them to start thinking about their goals beyond middle school. Mr. Boston’s leadership made the experience engaging, informative, and memorable for all students. Fulton loves you!
