On Thursday, 9/11 and Friday, 9/12, Fulton Elementary proudly celebrated Grandparents Day with an incredible turn out of over 200 MiMi's, Granny's, Grandma's, G-Pop's, Paw-Paw's and Grandpa's! Grandparents had the special opportunity to walk alongside their grandchildren as scholars shared their leadership binders, highlighting growth and accomplishments. Classroom visits gave grandparents a firsthand look at instruction and learning in action. To make the morning even sweeter, guests enjoyed donuts, coffee and fruit while connecting with one another and our school community. We are grateful for the love and support our grandparents provide and for the lasting impact they make in the lives of our scholars!

COMMUNITY EVENT: Promise Fest is this Saturday! Join the Springfield Promise Neighborhood for a carnival-style event complete with raffles, free food (while supplies last), community resources, and this year -- featuring a 'Now Hiring' section for families hoping to find information. Promise Fest will be held from 1-4 PM on Saturday, Sept. 13 at Lincoln Elementary School.

Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday. Have a great holiday, Wildcats!

Fulton's First Day Annual Clap In was a huge success. Community partners showed up to welcome our scholars to the new school year! Cheers, hugs and high fives were the order for the morning! We love our long standing community partners who always support us. Shout out to all of them for making Fulton the Finest!

Fulton’s Finest brought the energy and heart to the Springfield Memorial Day Parade yesterday! 🇺🇸🥁 Our Wildcat drumline honored the occasion with powerful beats and unmatched pride. 📚👮‍♀️ A Lesson on Friendship and Safety with Officer Jackson! 👮‍♀️📚 Today, Officer Jackson joined us in a 1st grade classroom to read the heartwarming story Enemy Pie. 🍰📖 Together, we explored how small acts of kindness and understanding can turn "enemies" into friends. 💛✨ After the story, Officer Jackson shared an exciting behind-the-scenes look at her important role. She stood up and explained the "tools" on her vest, showing how she uses them to keep our school safe every day. 🛠️👩‍✈️ Thank you, Officer Jackson, for teaching us about both friendship and the many ways you work to protect us.
