On Thursday, 9/11 and Friday, 9/12, Fulton Elementary proudly celebrated Grandparents Day with an incredible turn out of over 200 MiMi's, Granny's, Grandma's, G-Pop's, Paw-Paw's and Grandpa's! Grandparents had the special opportunity to walk alongside their grandchildren as scholars shared their leadership binders, highlighting growth and accomplishments. Classroom visits gave grandparents a firsthand look at instruction and learning in action. To make the morning even sweeter, guests enjoyed donuts, coffee and fruit while connecting with one another and our school community. We are grateful for the love and support our grandparents provide and for the lasting impact they make in the lives of our scholars!

Happy National Principal Appreciation Day! Today, we honored our phenomenal principal in a way as vibrant and inspiring as she is—with a special The Wiz-themed celebration! 🎭✨ She truly “eased on down the road” to the Emerald City, embodying the spirit of Dorothy’s journey—leading with heart, courage, and wisdom every step of the way. Just like Dorothy, she reminds us all to believe in ourselves and that there’s no place like our school community. Thank you for your unwavering dedication and for guiding us with such grace and strength. You are the heart of our school, and we are endlessly grateful for your leadership. We are Fulton's Finest because we are led by the Finest! Thank you so much for all you do, Mrs. Howard!

📚👮‍♀️ A Lesson on Friendship and Safety with Officer Jackson! 👮‍♀️📚 Today, Officer Jackson joined us in a 1st grade classroom to read the heartwarming story Enemy Pie. 🍰📖 Together, we explored how small acts of kindness and understanding can turn "enemies" into friends. 💛✨ After the story, Officer Jackson shared an exciting behind-the-scenes look at her important role. She stood up and explained the "tools" on her vest, showing how she uses them to keep our school safe every day. 🛠️👩‍✈️ Thank you, Officer Jackson, for teaching us about both friendship and the many ways you work to protect us. You're a real-life hero in our community! 🦸‍♀️👏 #CommunityHeroes #KindnessMatters #FultonsFinest
