COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITY: Springfield Swings is offering a FREE monthly golf clinic for kids 7-12 years old who are interested in learning how to golf! Our 3rd graders participated in a Project Based Learning (PBL) Open House this week! They worked hard to create projects that answer the question: "How can we, as producers, create a good or service that will satisfy the wants of consumers?" Tomorrow is the last day to register for the Wildcat Volleyball Program's Summer Kids Camp and guarantee a t-shirt! This 2-day camp is open to students entering grades 4-7 who are interested in building their volleyball skills. The camp will be held June 6-7 from 6-8 PM at Springfield High School. Beginning June 3, free daily lunch is available for students 18 and under as part of the District's Summer Food Program. The program will be held Monday-Friday at most locations. This program is made possible through the partnerships of the SCSD, Clark County Public Library, Wallick Communities, the Springfield Police Division & the Global Impact STEM Academy.






All incoming middle and high school students are invited the Athletic Department's Open House on Monday, May 20 at 6:30 PM in the Springfield High gym! This is a great opportunity to meet coaches, receive summer schedules and learn more about FinalForms and dates to receive physicals. Fall, winter & spring sports will be represented. Our Girls on the Run team just finished their practice 5K! After weeks of training, they are now ready for the official race on May 4 at Wright State University. TWO HOUR EARLY RELEASE: Due to an updated severe weather forecast by the Clark County Emergency Management Agency, our schools and buses will be released TWO HOURS early on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Springfield High School will release at 12:00 pm, the elementary school will release at 1:00 pm and the middle school will release at 1:45 pm.
All after school activities, practices, games, and events are canceled. The District apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause for families.
