
The Summer Lunch Program is back! 🥪
The program provides free lunch for District students under the age of 18, Monday-Friday, starting June 2 running through August 1. Sites will be closed on June 19 for Juneteenth and on July 4 for Independence Day.

We encourage everyone to dress up this week in celebration of Simon Kenton's OST Spirit Week, as a way to inspire our students in grades 3-6 ahead of their upcoming tests next week!

2 HOUR DELAY: Due to slick road and sidewalk conditions in parts of the city, the SCSD will be delayed TWO HOURS on Thursday, February 20. Please note that students will be permitted inside their school buildings 30-minutes prior to the official delayed start time of the school day and that breakfast will not be served.

Join us at The John Legend Theater for a free community viewing of 'Screenagers: Elementary Edition' on Feb. 27 at 7 PM! The film explores the challenges elementary-aged children, parents, and educators face regarding screen time, highlights research on healthy screen time limits and offers practical solutions to these issues. Stop by early at 6 PM for a free resource fair!

COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITY: Cedarville University Cheerleading is offering a Junior Jackets Cheer Clinic this year! This is a one day clinic on Saturday, February 22 where the Junior Jackets will perform at halftime of the basketball games that afternoon.
