Any SCSD student in grades 6-11 who is interested in taking College Credit Plus courses during the 2024-25 school year is invited to attend an information session during Springfield High School's Open House night on Jan. 25. The session will begin at 5:30 P.M. in the SHS library. This is a great opportunity to earn college credit while still in school!

On Friday, November 17th, Student Council hosted our first annual Fall Social. The kids had an amazing time! There was FOOD (of course - they are kids), basketball, football, volleyball, corn hole, socializing with friends and more!! This was a great activity!

The Springfield High School Wildcat football team will be playing in the State Championship game in Canton, Ohio on Friday, December 1, 2023.
In order to ensure all staff, students, families and friends who wish to travel to Canton to support the football team in their quest for the state title may do so, the Springfield City School District will be releasing students 3 hours early on Friday.
Buildings will dismiss at the following times:
Springfield High School at 11:00 AM
Elementary Buildings at 12:00 PM
School of Innovation at 12:17 PM
Middle Schools at 12:45 PM
