Roosevelt has a new club. Who wants to join Extreme Bots Club and play Drone Soccer? It will be amazing! It starts on Thursday, February 15th from 4 - 4:45 in room 17. You will get your permission slip the first night. See you on the 15th!!


Candy Grams will be on sale from February 7th through the February 13th during lunches. Send a friend, teacher or Valentine a candy gram.They will be delivered to on the afternoon of February 14th (Valentine’s Day!) They are 2 for a $1 or $2 a piece, depending on the candy purchased. Don’t forget to bring your money to buy your candy gram and support Student Council!

Roosevelt was on WHIO-TV!! As you have heard, Roosevelt is turning 100 this year. We are having guest speakers during the school day and a Family Night in the evening on February 8th. Check out WHIO to see the article about our guest speakers!

Due to current road conditions and incoming snowfall, the SCSD will be CLOSED on Friday, January 19, 2024.

Any SCSD student in grades 6-11 who is interested in taking College Credit Plus courses during the 2024-25 school year is invited to attend an information session during Springfield High School's Open House night on Jan. 25. The session will begin at 5:30 P.M. in the SHS library. This is a great opportunity to earn college credit while still in school!

Students worked as a team to build a castle out of marshmallows, spaghetti, and index cards in Mrs. Freer's room! This was in preparation for group work during the reading of their novel, Castle Diaries. What fun!!






Will your student be a middle schooler in the Summer of 2025 (current 6th and 7th graders)?
