Good Morning Lagonda Parents, We wanted to thank all of our parents/guardians and community members that came to our Family Literacy Night last Thursday! We had some amazing activities and prizes for those that braved the rain. I would also like to give a special thanks to Missy Combs, our ELA instructional coach, for planning the event and Wittenberg staff and students coming out to help run activity tables and providing new books to our students! There was a Family Engagement Survey we are asking all our parents to complete. Those that do complete the survey get put into a raffle for a Kindle! Here is a link to the survey, please have it complete by Friday @3pm! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YCQzZ2-MqtKHaTLo1-SFLvZ3rXwQqC3XRxKSNQ05aok/edit?usp=sharing

Today, we got our 3rd thru 6th Grade Students to remember to "Glow What They Know!" for state testing next week! We had Willy the Wildcat join us for a dance off, inspiring speeches from Mr. Runyon the Student Lighthouse facilitator, Principal Harning, and Student Lighthouse President Savannah Jeffery! We recognized students' achievement on last year's state tests and we wrapped up the festivities with a Hungry Hungry Hippos competition! Congrats on the win Ms. Byrd!! Remember to encourage our students to "Glow What They Know" and do their best next week! Go Wildcats!!!
