Springfield High School Head Basketball Coaches Matt Yinger and Terry Toliver are providing Springfield City School District families with a unique youth basketball opportunity this fall.
The Springfield City Youth League will begin Monday, Sept. 18! This 5-week league features both instruction and game play and will be open to 2nd-6th grade boys and girls in the SCSD (Note: Although open to both boys and girls, the league is not co-ed). Register ASAP to reserve your spot!

Join Elementary Running Club! Students in grades 4-6 are invited to join this club that meets every Monday & Wednesday at Roosevelt Middle School from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Beginner and advanced runners are welcome! Please bring proper running attire & a water bottle. Questions can be directed to Coach Ashley Long via email (ashlong97@gmail.com).

Upcoming Dates: Saturday, August 19th from 3pm-5pm the Fellowship Christian Church is hosting our annual Block Party @ Lagonda Elementary from 3pm - 5pm.Monday, August 21st from 5pm - 6:30pm, our staff will be providing Open House for our 1st thru 6th grade students and their families. The first day of school for grades 1st thru 6th will be Wednesday, August 23rd. Our doors will open at 8am for breakfast and students will begin dismissal at 3pm. Kindergarten families will receive information about their students' screening process, open house, and start date directly. We look forward to partnering with you this school year and will see you on Saturday!
