Kenwood kindergarten student Aeryn Miller stands in front of banner celebrating her last chemotherapy treatment

Every Kenwood Elementary School student and staff member lined the hallways on Thursday to celebrate the end of chemotherapy for Kindergarten student, Aeryn Miller.

Aeryn was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2020. She will go to the hospital on Friday to officially ring the bell and signal her end of treatment, but her Kenwood family celebrated her with a clap-out of their own at dismissal time – nearly all of them wearing orange in honor of the type of cancer Aeryn was diagnosed with.

Every student at Kenwood also signed a banner for Aeryn to take home with her.

The clap out video can be viewed and shared below. Congratulations to Aeryn and her family on this huge milestone!
