Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day. Classes resume on Tuesday. Have a great holiday, Wildcats!

Join us for Hayward's Math and Literacy Open House from 4:15-5:30pm. We are excited to meet all of our students' families and share what will be happening in classrooms and share resources with families.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Over the past week I have sent letters home in backpack mail letting parents know that their child is in need of additional immunizations or they will be excluded from school starting the week of Labor Day (September 3, 2024). Parents - if you provide a copy of an appointment card they won't be excluded unless that appointment is missed.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Class time is valuable. PLEASE review our revised tardy to class policy.
This is to notify the student and parent/guardian that tardies will result in Attendance School that is held each Friday after school. Students begin at 3:40 and dismiss in 20 minute increments (up to 6:00 p.m.) for each tardy that week. Attendance School will continue on Saturday if needed. Attendance is mandatory.
Parents, please stress the importance of arriving to every class on time.

Breakfast and lunch menus for the remainder of August are now available on the SCSD app! To view: Choose your child's building from the 'Schools' button in the bottom right corner. Then select 'Menu' in the bottom left corner and choose 'Dining.' You can view the menu for each day of the month.
