The SCSD Athletic Department will hold their annual Open House for all 25-26 students entering grades 7-12. The Open House will be held at Springfield High School in the Main Gym on Monday, May 19 starting at 6:00pm.
Coaches from all of the sports offered at the middle and high school levels will have summer workout schedules available, and will be available for questions. Students will be able to "sign up" to receive Final Forms communications from coaches.

The All-City Orchestra concert scheduled for tonight has been POSTPONED for a later date. Students will receive communication about a rescheduled date and time once it has been set.
Due to a bus driver shortage caused by illness, all schools will be closed on Monday, April 14.
All activities, practices, games, and events will be held as scheduled, unless otherwise stated.

Ohio State Testing begins April 8th at Hayward. We are ready to see our students level up! Reading testing will be held on April 8th and 9th. Science testing, for 8th graders only, will be on April 10th and 11th. Math testing will be on April 15th and 16th. Encourage your student to get a good night’s rest and then have breakfast at home or at school. It is essential to have your student present and on time to school during these days. We also need your support in making sure your student understands the importance of putting away phones, smart watches, and personal headphones (we provide earbuds for testing) during testing and utilizing their Yondr pouches. If these items are out during testing it can invalidate their test. We appreciate your support!
