This group of students went and represented Hayward at the District Leadership Team meeting this morning. They presented on a Leader in Me district grant we received. This was led by the students. They explained the process and the reflection from their grant. They decided they wanted to add flexible seating into classrooms. They did a wonderful job representing and leading our building.

Spring Break March 30th-April 3rd
⭐️Tonight Thursday March 26th we have our last round of student-led conferences. Please come with your student and let them share with you the progress they have made this year.
☀️During conferences we will have a Pathways to Possibilities event. Students from our Career Connections classes (every student takes this course from 7th grade on) will represent one of the six career pathways. We will also have local businesses here to represent the different career pathways. We will be having a raffle 🎟️ for anyone that interacts with this special activity.
⭐️We will also have a quick parent meeting that will feature how to prepare for state testing at home.

*Please check your email for additional information.

⬆️ If you have not already we would appreciate your support by filling out our building's survey so we can continue to improve. https://www.leaderinme.com/s/hayward-middle-school/families

Today we celebrated students that had perfect attendance. Students were invited to a Valentine's Day 💕 lunch with a friend. Mr. Davis, our attendance officer, made two delicious options for students to choose from. Thank you Mr. Davis for helping our building to level up.
