About

Welcome from the Principal . . .

Welcome to Lincoln Elementary School, “Home of the Wildcats”. We are looking forward to another exciting year as we promote healthy lifestyles, striving to develop students that are college and career ready, with a sense of pride, respect and responsibility for his/her community. We have prepared this handbook in order to increase communication and understanding among the students and parents.

Learning is our number one priority at Lincoln. We want to insure that your child will learn in a safe, respectful and responsible environment, structured to encourage mutual respect, foster responsibility and promote integrity for all. We ask for your support in upholding the policies and procedures outlined in this handbook in order to guarantee that all students are safe and respected with a sense of responsibility and belonging. We believe it is extremely important that our students learn responsible behavior, self-control and a positive attitude when facing life’s challenges. Learning information is no longer enough; students today must also learn critical thinking and decision-making skills. To reach these goals, it is very important that the school and the parents work together.

We believe that the parents and families play a fundamental role in their child’s education. On behalf of the Lincoln staff and myself, I would like to extend an open invitation for you to join the Lincoln team, and actively participate with your child in his/her learning experience. Let’s all work together to provide a great year of learning and fun.

Please take time to review the information in this handbook with your child so that you may become familiar with our school policies and the responsibilities expected of the students at our school. Be sure to complete, sign and return the Student Registration Form, Emergency Medical Form and Acceptable Use Policy Student Agreement Form to your child’s teacher as soon as possible. We look forward to an exciting and productive year!
