I would like to welcome you to Kenwood Elementary School. It is my hope the new school year will be filled with challenging and rewarding opportunities for your child(ren).
The purpose of this handbook is to provide you with information about school policies and procedures. Please take time to read this handbook. It is my hope that the information found in this book will help maintain open and effective communication between home and school.
At Kenwood we believe that education is an active partnership between the school and home. Therefore, it is important that we work together to provide the very best learning environment and opportunities for all children.
The goal at Kenwood is to provide a safe, responsible and respectful environment where children thrive and take risks as learners every day. I urge you to be involved in your child’s education in as many ways as you can.
