The Springfield City School District welcomes you and your child to a wonderful preschool experience!
Our belief is that all children are unique, special, deserving of respect, nurturance, continuity, and safety. Every child can learn. Children will gain the necessary skills that they need to be successful by exploring, investigating, and interacting with their environment.
Our curriculum provides child centered and teacher facilitated intentional activities that allow children to learn through play, discovery, observation, investigation, and experimentation. Learning practices that provide for physical, social/emotional, language, aesthetic, and cognitive development for the child.
Age Guidelines
Students that are three or four years of age by September 30 can apply for preschool programming by registering at www.scsdoh.org/centralregistration and filling out the preschool information packet found here.
