The Springfield City School District values technology use in the classroom for 21st Century Learning. Over the past several years, improvements in bandwidth, equipment and software have allowed our staff and students to approach 21st Century teaching and learning practices with the necessary supports in place.
- Each building in the District boasts a 10GB private fiber network connection
- We provide a Macbook Air 11" laptop to each 3rd - 12th grade student
- 21st century tools in the classroom: Smartboards, wall-mount projectors, document cameras, and various transformative tools
- Engineering labs in Elementary, Middle Schools and High School
- Online text series for many subject areas with embedded technology tools
- Apple Teacher Program
- Google Apps for Education
